Always clean with friendly staff! Brenda & Ed, run the complimentary breakfast and will get you anything you need. From sliced lemon to special flavored waffles, they cater to each guest! When you stay somewhere for a week, for work, their hospitality makes you feel at home! Hands down the best place to stay in Presque Isle, Maine! However, book early as they fill up fast!

The staff are friendly!! I’ve talked with the ladies who keep up with the continental breakfast, front desk staff, and the very nice man who keeps the hotel clean. Genuinely nice people. The rooms are clean. I get housekeeping daily, and they always do a great job. It is clean and restocked each afternoon when I return back to the hotel. The pool area is clean and does not smell overly chlorine-like (which is a good sign). The breakfast is pretty standard for continental breakfast. They have hot items that they rotate daily (ex: cheese omelette, sausage, potatoes, pancakes, bacon), cereals, bakery items and breads, waffle maker, oatmeal, and yoplait. I’m pretty particular on my diet and I do wish they had more healthier options (Greek yogurt, hot healthy egg/meat option, berries of some sort, granola) - but everything they have is fresh. The coffee is always hot and fresh!
I was in Presque Isle for 7 days, and had to extend 2 days. I had to shift rooms and rebook for the extension. Kind of annoying, but guess I understand.
My 1st room was very nice, a single king. The bathroom had a nice shower with sliding door. My 2nd room was a 2 queen, but had a tub that didn't drain well.
The morning breakfast everyday was good and the staff were all friendly and helpful. It could use a bit more parking spaces.
The main irritant here was the room keys. I was here for 9 days and had to have my room key refreshed 10 times. I carried my key in my left back pocket with absolutely no magnets near it. It did t help
I've stayed here quite a few times over the last several years and have always had a pleasant time. The gym equipment is always clean and functional which is important for my hotel adventures.
I particularly like the staff, always pleasant and friendly, a step above most chain hotels and even many other Hampton Inn locations. I always get the feeling that a lot of locals or returning customers stay here because sometimes at breakfast it feels like a family gathering. The people attending the continental buffet are chatting and friendly and it feels like everyone knows everyone else.
They used to have a soup/salad potluck every evening but that understandably disappeared in 2020. I do hope they revive it at some point because it truly set them ahead of other hotels I frequent.
I stay at a lot of hotels in the tri-state area, mostly Hilton brand, and you can clearly tell that local management makes a difference. My expectations are always met and I'll be here many more times in the future.
This is a great little Hampton Inn and I think the most northerly Hilton on the East coast. Its ideal if you are staying in the area for hiking or going to Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument or just going to/from Canada. …
